United Way’s UDodge event, promotes team building, athleticism and community spirit in a fun and energetic environment. This peer-to-peer fundraising initiative is an epic one-day, excitement filled tournament that encourages participants to bring their A-game no matter the skill level. Participants enjoy a fun-filled day of friendly competition, prizes, food and entertainment, all in an effort to win the coveted ‘wrench trophy’.
In 2019 – the last year we were able to host the event – an incredible group of 12 teams and 120 players shared an amazing experience and raised over $14,000, making a big difference to the local organizations that rely on United Way funding! These funds were invested to help kids be all they can be, to support mental health supports to individuals and families in need, and to help move people from a life of poverty to one of possibility by providing access to food and housing support.
