Vollmershausen Leadership Challenge Grant

Doubling the impact of your donation

The Vollmershausen Leadership Challenge Grant is a new initiative that encourages United Way Oxford donors to consider a Leadership gift of $1200 or more. Each gift will double the impact for children, individuals and families in our community who will rely on local programs and services for support.

This exciting initiative will match all new leadership gifts of $1200 or more to a maximum of $50,000. Existing leadership donors who increase their gift by more than 10% will also qualify to have the increase of their gift matched. “This exciting initiative will have great impact on our community,” says Shelley Lachapelle, Resource Development Manager. “We will see more young people succeed. Local residents will benefit from programs and services they need to thrive and brighter futures will be possible for even more people facing poverty.”

Dennis and Joan Vollmershausen, United Way Oxford Leaderships Chairs and founders of the Vollmershausen Leadership Challenge Grant add “We believe in United Way. For many years, we’ve supported their work. Their mission resonates with our values. Today, residents in our community are facing many challenges. Our combined efforts and support can have lasting impact. For those individuals and businesses that are in a position to give, I encourage you to give.”

“United Way Oxford would like to thank the Vollmershausens’ and the other families contributing to this grant who choose to remain anonymous for their tremendous investment and generosity,” says Lachapelle. “Our goal is to max out this grant and celebrate that accomplishment for our community.”
