Coldest Night of the Year

Get Involved in the Coldest Night of the Year: Saturday February 22, 2025.
The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is more than just a fundraising event; it’s an opportunity to come together as a community and make a tangible difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, hunger, and poverty. This annual event, which takes place across Canada, invites individuals, families, and teams to participate in a walk on a cold winter night to raise awareness and funds for local charities that support vulnerable populations. We invite you to join us for United Way Oxford walks in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg.

When you take part in CNOY, you’re helping to provide transitional housing for people experiencing homelessness. In Tillsonburg, you are walking to support the Tillsonburg Light House, a seven-room home that helps people move from homelessness to stable living. In Ingersoll, you are walking to support the Ingersoll Light House, a six-room home that will open in March 2025.

Getting involved is easy and impactful. You can join as an individual or gather a team of friends, family, or coworkers to walk together. Every step you take helps to make a difference! The fundraising tools available on the CNOY website make it simple to set up a page, share your efforts on social media, and encourage donations from your network.
